Major European stocks started Friday's session in positive territory as investors observed the latest batch of corporate earnings and economic data released throughout the day. NatWest, Eni, and Mercedes published their results prior to the opening bell, while the latest inflation and GDP data came in from France.
The DAX rose by 0.55% at the open, as Deutsche Boerse grew 2.25%. The FTSE 100 gained 0.19%, with Prudential soaring 3.78%. The CAC 40 climbed by 0.20%, led by Saint-Gobain's 2.68% growth. The Euro Stoxx 50 added 0.31%.
The euro traded flat against the dollar to sell for 1.10313 at 8:54 am CET, while the pound declined 0.13% to $1.24813.
