Major stock exchanges in Europe traded mixed in the premarket on Tuesday as investors looked forward to a new batch of economic data. This week, they will be focusing on consumer inflation digits from all across the continent, the Swiss GDP, the Eurozone's economic sentiment indicator, and German retail sales, among other reports.
The DAX rose 0.18% at 8:00 am CET. Concurrently, the Euro Stoxx 50 gained 0.14%, the CAC 40 was flat, and the FTSE 100 declined 0.17%.
The euro traded 0.16% above the dollar at 7:59 am CET, going for 1.08754. At the same time, the pound edged up 0.06% against the greenback, changing hands for 1.27766.
