Major European indexes turned positive on Thursday after the United States reported better-than-expected GDP figures. The US Bureau of Economic Analysis said that the country's economy grew by 6.9% in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The FTSE 100 jumped 1.43% at 3:40 pm CET. The best performer was Standard Chartered, whose stock soared 6.30%.
The DAX was up 0.55% at 3:40 pm CET. Deutsche Bank led the gains, surging 4.99% after reporting an 8% increase in revenue for the final quarter of 2021.
The CAC 40 climbed 0.79% at 3:40 pm CET as STMicroelectronics rallied 4.49%.
