Major European stock markets surged at the end of Wednesday's session as investors digested better-than-expected consumer confidence figures and an upbeat employment outlook report from Germany.
The Euro Stoxx 50 rallied 1.79% and the DAX jumped 1.54%. Adidas led the gains on both indexes, skyrocketing 6.76%.
The FTSE 100 climbed 1.73%. The best performer was Jd Sports Fashion, up 6.09%.
The CAC 40 soared 2.01% with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield gaining 4.21%.
The euro dipped 0.08% against the dollar to go for 1.06063 at 5:36 pm CET and the pound slid 0.68% compared to the greenback to sell for 1.20936 at 5:37 pm CET.
