The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the Eurozone (EA19) stood at 6.6% in June, at the same level compared to the month prior, according to Eurostat's report released on Monday. Year-over-year, the figure decreased by 1.3 percentage points.
In the entire European Union (EU27), the jobless rate was 6%, unchanged on a monthly basis, but 1.2 percentage points lower than in June 2021.
Among EU member states, the unemployment rate was the highest in Spain at 12.6%, while Czechia registered the lowest reading of 2.4%.
