Explosions were reported in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporizhzhia, on Saturday, according to Strana newspaper.

An air raid alert was issued earlier in the city, and there were several explosions heard, the report stated.

Zaporizhzhia is home to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, Europe's largest of its kind.
