The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is supposedly investigating "non-credible" bomb threats sent to polling places in Michigan and Wisconsin, in addition to Georgia, NBC News reported, citing a senior FBI official.
A spokesperson for Michigan's Secretary of State's office told the news agency they were aware of such non-credible threats. This afternoon, Wisconsin Elections Commission administrator Meagan Wolfe said that "to our knowledge, there are no current threats against any Wisconsin polling places."
Earlier, the FBI said "many" of the threats "appear[s] to originate from Russian email domains," adding that "[n]one of the threats have been determined to be credible thus far."
