Ford Motor Co. will cut its all-electric F-150 Lightning pickup production in half in 2024, CNBC reported, citing a source familiar with the information.
The new production plans reportedly foresee an average volume of around 1,600 F-150 Lightnings produced per week in January, the source stated. "We'll continue to match production with customer demand," a Ford spokeswoman said Monday.
The sales of the F-150 Lightning have steadily increased in 2023, reaching record numbers in November with 4,400 sold.
