French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu (pictured) confirmed in a statement on Friday that Paris will send two tanks to Kiev forces following yesterday's phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov.
Paris plans to transfer two AMX 10-RC light combat tanks to Ukraine in two months' time, delivering on President Emmanuel Macron's previous promise made in early January.
Reznikov expressed his gratitude for the decision to provide Kiev with armed vehicles, as well as for "the continued support of Ukraine."
