Outgoing United States Senator from Georgia Kelly Loeffler conceded the runoff election to her Democratic opponent Raphael Warnock. Warnock's victory was projected on Wednesday after a close race, in which neither candidate won enough votes in the first round.

In her statement, Loeffler listed the achievements as a senator. "Unfortunately, we came up slightly short in the runoff election - and earlier today I called Reverend Warnock to congratulate him and to wish him well in serving this great state," she said.
