Hamas-controlled Health Ministry in Gaza updated on Monday its death toll figures.

According to the latest data, the number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, rose to 40,786, and the number of those injured grew to 94,224.

Meanwhile, over in Israel, protests erupted around the country, following the retrieval of the bodies of six Israeli hostages, with citizens urging Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government to reach a ceasefire deal.
