German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock revealed on Monday that the European Union foreign ministers will discuss additional restrictions against Iran during today's meeting in Brussels.
According to Baerbock, the bloc's sanctions will likely target more Revolutionary Guard personnel in reaction to Iran's human rights violations.
In retaliation, Tehran imposed measures on individuals from the European Union and the United Kingdom "for inciting and encouraging the support of terrorism" and "supporting violence against the Iranian people."
