Germany sends another IRIS-T system to Ukraine

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Friday in a statement that Berlin delivered another IRIS-T air defense system to Kiev. With this, Ukraine now owns four such systems.

"Russia has been increasing its air strikes against Ukraine for months, killing people and destroying important infrastructure," the German official stated, adding that the latest delivery will help strengthen Kiev's air defenses.

Meanwhile, earlier today, the United States announced Ukraine would get another $275 million in military aid.
