International Association Football Federation (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino (pictured) was re-elected on Thursday for his third term in that position.

Infantino will thus remain FIFA's head until at least 2027. He was the only candidate in this year's election.

Infantino's re-election took place at FIFA's ongoing 73rd summit, held in the Rwandan capital of Kigali.
