Former New York City mayor and ex-lawyer of 45th US President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, reached a last-minute agreement to resolve his bankruptcy case, AP reported on Thursday.
As part of the deal, Giuliani will pay around $400,000 to a financial advisor hired by his creditors and will avoid answering questions about his financial situation in bankruptcy court, which he was previously threatened with by a judge.
Previously, a judge dismissed Giuliani's bankruptcy case due to his repeated failures to disclose his sources of income and comply with court orders. The filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection came after a federal judge ruled that he must begin paying damages to two election workers as a result of a lawsuit filed against him.
