Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley stated during the Republican presidential debate that although she has no intention to implement a ban on Muslims who potentially want to migrate to the United States, she would want to target countries with hostile attitudes towards Washington.
"You look at what came across the southern border. What worries me the most are those that came from Iran, from Yemen, from Lebanon — those areas where they say death to America. That's where you want to be careful. It's not about religion," she insisted.
Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis commented he wouldn't permit Gaza refugees to enter the US. "You had some of the Squad wanted to import 300,000 people from the Gaza Strip. I said, 'No.' We’re not taking anyone from Gaza because of the anti-Semitism and because they reject American culture," he underscored.
