Hamas launches rockets in new attack on Israel

Hamas' armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, announced in a Telegram post on Tuesday that it fired 12 rockets at the Kiryat Shmona airport barracks in northern Israel.

According to the post, the strike was carried out in response to "massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip."

Earlier today, the militant group launched a barrage of rockets toward central Israel and Tel Aviv.
