Hamas slammed on Friday the "unilateral" appointment of Mohammad Mustafa as the new Palestinian Prime Minister. The decision has been criticized as a misstep in the effort to reform the Palestinian Authority (PA) and rebuild Gaza.
In its latest message, the militant group also expressed the decision was made without proper consultation. "Making individual decisions and engaging in superficial and empty steps such as forming a new government without national consensus only reinforces a policy of unilateralism and deepens division," they said.
