Hezbollah denied responsibility for a morning rocket barrage fired from southern Lebanon toward the northern Israeli town of Metula. The attack marked the first such incident since December, prompting retaliatory airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces.
In a statement, Hezbollah said it "reiterates its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and stands behind the Lebanese state in addressing this dangerous Zionist escalation against Lebanon."
The IDF previously confirmed six rockets were launched, with three intercepted and the rest falling short inside Lebanese territory. Israeli forces struck dozens of Hezbollah targets, including launch sites and a command center, according to a military spokesperson.
