Lebanon-based Hezbollah reported Sunday the death of one of its members, Hussein Moussawi, who was described as being killed "on the road to Jerusalem", a phrase the group uses for operatives who die in Israeli attacks.
This latest casualty adds to the rising toll of Hezbollah fighters, with at least 432 of its members having died since the start of the conflict in Gaza. The announcement follows a series of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) airstrikes in southern Lebanon. Lebanese media outlets said that an Israeli strike in Beit Lif earlier this evening resulted in one fatality.
In addition, the armed group claimed to have destroyed around ten Israeli surveillance posts, infrastructures and army patrols all located in settlements near the border.
