Hezbollah has launched approximately 50 rockets toward the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base in northern Israel, the militant group said in a statement on Tuesday.
Hezbollah stressed that the latest attacks were conducted in response to Israeli forces' strikes on northeastern areas of Lebanon earlier today, where they targeted a military compound used by the group.
Additionally, Lebanese media reported that explosions were heard in the city of Baalbek, located about 100 kilometers from the Israeli border and considered Hezbollah's stronghold, claiming that Israeli air forces are conducting fresh strikes on the Lebanese city.
