International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi (pictured) expressed his concern Friday about Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP).
In the latest report on Ukraine's situation, Grossi voiced concern about the decision-making situation that reveals evident contradictions in the plant's chain of command, potentially having a negative impact on nuclear safety.
Moreover, the agency mentioned in the report that there had been no shelling "on the ZNPP site itself since 20 November," only in the plant's surroundings. Finally, Director General Grossi continues to hold high-level talks with Ukraine and Russia to establish a nuclear safety protection zone around the ZNPP.
