IDF says two reservists killed in central Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the deaths of two of its reservists in a Hamas mortar attack in the central part of the Gaza Strip yesterday.

Another three soldiers belonging to the Alexandroni Brigade were "seriously" injured in the attack, the military added.

Their deaths bring the toll of Israeli troops killed in the ground offensive against Hamas to 314, including the death of a police officer killed in a hostage rescue mission.
