The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shelled areas in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, including the Zeitoun neighbourhood in Gaza City, the Quds News Network reported.

Additionally, the Israeli army raided the town of Abasan al-Kabira, which is located east of Khan Younis in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera.
