Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Pir Hossein Kolivand said on Monday that the rescue teams in charge of finding the wreckage of the helicopter in which the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, his Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials were traveling did not receive international help to find the remains of the helicopter.

Speaking to the media, the spokesman said the helicopter was found around 5:00 am (local time) at a distance of two kilometers, and that it took about 40 minutes for rescuers to reach the site. He stated that the helicopter was damaged at an altitude of 2,500 km and around 2,000 people participated in the rescue operations.

Earlier, the same organization noted the bodies found were transported to the Martyrs' Cemetery in Tabriz.
