China's industrial production increased 6.8% in December compared to the same month in 2022, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.
The production and supply of electricity, thermal power, gas, and water were up by 4.3% in December and the value of mining added 2.3%, with the highest performer being manufacturing with a 5% rise.
The state-holding enterprises added 5% year-on-year, with the share-holding and private enterprises advancing 5.3% and 3.1% respectively. The enterprises funded by foreign investors or investors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan increased by 1.4%.
