The Iranian Foreign Ministry accused Israel on Monday of attempting to "undermine" nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

"A kind of coalition is forming … to undermine and disrupt the diplomatic process," the ministry's spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said.

After the second round of indirect talks between the United States and Iran on the nuclear issue over the weekend, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted that the "negotiations are progressing" and that the two sides "managed to reach a better understanding on a number of principles and goals." The negotiations are set to continue next Saturday, April 26.
