Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer (pictured) will reportedly visit Washington on Wednesday, Axios reported on Tuesday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
According to the sources, Dermer will meet the US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and other senior Biden administration officials to discuss the ongoing Israeli-Hamas war. The media outlet also reported that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is planning to travel to Israel next week to talk about the "situation in Gaza and the day after the war."
Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country has no intention to release thousands of Palestinian "terrorists" in a hostage agreement.
