National Unity Party leader and former Israel's Minister without Portfolio Benny Gantz said on Thursday that if Hezbollah does not halt its attacks on Israel, "Lebanon should burn."

In an interview with Channel 12, Gantz ensured that his party will support the Israeli government regarding its actions against Hezbollah despite his withdrawal from the war cabinet.

Additionally, the politician stressed that the decision not to attack Hezbollah in October, made by the war cabinet, was the right one. "If you carry out a preemptive strike, you are sure to start a war."
