Israel's Foreign Ministry revealed on Sunday the appointment of Eli Belotserkovsky and Yaakov Finkelstein as new envoys to China and Poland, respectively.
Belotserkovsky will hold an additional role as a non-resident ambassador to Mongolia. He served as an ambassador to South Africa and Ukraine. His tenure in South Africa concluded in November 2023 after the nation demanded the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, prompting his recall. Furthermore, he has experience as the charge d'affaires at the Israeli Embassy in Russia.
Before Finkelstein's appointment, he served in the Foreign Ministry's Europe Division and held the position of consul general in Mumbai.
