The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that it detected "suspects" arriving in parts of southern Lebanon, pointing out that their presence is a violation of the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire agreement.
The IDF said it fired at the persons, confirming a previous Lebanese report, which said two people were injured in an Israeli strike. "The IDF is deployed in southern Lebanon and enforces any violation of the ceasefire agreement," the Israeli military said.
