The Israel Defense Forces said the military detected at least 13 launches by forces located in Lebanon on Sunday.
One of the rockets hit a building in Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel, according to local media. The IDF added that it was striking at the sources of the fire in the neighboring country and that it struck "Hezbollah military infrastructure" in retaliation for previous incidents.
The Israeli armed forces separately confirmed that "over the last few hours, the IDF continued to strike and kill terrorists in the Gaza Strip" as well, saying that new operations took place at the Erez Crossing.
