Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty (pictured) proposed on Friday that a temporary committee should be given the governance of Gaza for six months until the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) is ready to take over.
Speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Abdelatty stressed Egypt and Qatar's efforts to revive the negotiations between Israel and Hamas and complete the previously agreed prisoner exchange.
Abdelatty's comments came a day after he confirmed Cairo forwarded its proposal to Israel and Hamas for them to consider it.
