Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari underlined on Tuesday that the Palestinian militant group "has nowhere to hide in Gaza," revealing that the army received an order to open fire on anyone who approaches the border fence with Gaza.

"We will reach them everywhere," the spokesperson said during the press briefing. Hagari also confirmed that there are "currently" no unusual events on the northern front, near the Israel's border with Lebanon and Syria.

Previously, the army reported that nearly 1,500 bodies of Hamas militants were found on the Israeli territory since the clashes began last Saturday. Earlier this morning, the miltiary carried out strikes against Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip.
