The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its forces launched a joint counter-terrorist operation with the Shin Bet and Israel Prisons Service in Tubas, located in the northeastern West Bank, targeting a "terror cell" in the area.
Israeli military revealed it used "extensive forces" overnight in the Tubas and Tammon region in the Bekaa and Emekim Division, as a part of an operation conducted in northern Samaria. "As part of the activity, a short time ago an aircraft attacked an armed terrorist squad in the Tubas area," the IDF said in a statement published on X.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said 5 people were killed as a result of Israel's bombing of Tubas.
