Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are in close races in Arizona and Nevada, critical battlegrounds in the 2024 election, a recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS showed on Tuesday.
According to the data, Harris leads by a narrow 48% to 47% in Arizona, while Trump holds a slim 48% to 47% advantage in Nevada, both within the margin of error. Moreover, with many voters having already cast their ballots, the pool of persuadable voters is shrinking, and both candidates are locked in intense final campaign efforts.
Harris has gained ground among key demographics, including women and Latino voters in Arizona and in topics like abortion rights. At the same time, Trump has the edge on issues like immigration and the economy.
