Three Israeli soldiers were injured in a car-ramming attack by a Palestinian man in the West Bank near the village of Beit Ummar, according to the Israeli authorities.
The Israeli military shot dead the perpetrator at the scene of the attack. One soldier is in serious condition while the other two suffered less severe injuries.
Earlier this week, the Israeli police killed a man who, according to them, snatched a gun from an officer and fired it at other policemen. Palestinian authorities dispute the account of the incident that took place near the Al-Aqsa mosque complex.
