Israel firmly rejected on Thursday a United Nations report claiming that the Israeli military conducted "genocidal acts" against the Palestinian people by "intentionally" destroying women's healthcare facilities and "imposing measures intended to prevent births" during the war in the Gaza Strip.
The report is a "predetermined and biased political agenda" and "a shameless attempt to incriminate the Israel Defense Forces," the Permanent Mission of Israel to the UN said in a statement.
Additionally, the mission ensured that the Israeli military "has concrete directives ... and policies which unequivocally prohibit such misconduct," stressing that its review processes are performed according to international standards.
