Israeli army claims it killed Hamas commander

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that the commander of Hamas's Nukhba force, Adel Msammah, was killed in an overnight strike on Gaza.

The commander led the attack on Kissufim on October 7, a kibbutz in the northwestern Negev desert in Israel, the IDF underscored.

According to the latest information from the Hamas-controlled health ministry in the Gaza Strip, nearly 22,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war started.
