A school in a neighborhood of northern Gaza, near Jabalia, became the site of an Israeli attack resulting in the death of at least 10 individuals and injuring 17 others, according to reports from Al Jazeera Arabic and the Wafa news agency, citing local medical sources.

The assault, allegedly carried out by Israeli forces, struck the school which was providing refuge to displaced individuals in the area.

The assault adds to the escalating violence in the already beleaguered Jabalia camp, compelling more residents to flee the area in search of safety.
