Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi handed in his resignation on Thursday for the second time in seven days at the Chamber of Deputies.
"I asked the session to be suspended," said Draghi before he went to meet Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
The decision comes despite Draghi winning the Senate confidence vote yesterday. He also called for stability in Italy. The Prime Minister offered to resign earlier this month, but Mattarella rejected it.
