Italy, Austria join ban on flights from UK

Italy and Austria joined on Sunday a growing number of countries that banned incoming flights from the United Kingdom after a new strain of COVID-19 started spreading in the country. It is currently unknown how long the bans will last.

Earlier on Sunday, Belgium suspended flights and Eurostar trains coming from the UK for 24 hours, with the possibility of an extension. The Netherlands also stopped flights from the UK on Saturday.
