United States House Speaker Mike Johnson announced on Tuesday that an agreement on the content of the next stopgap bill aimed at keeping the government funded through March 14 is "coming together."
Speaking to the press while leaving the House Republican Conference's meeting, Johnson affirmed that "we are almost there" and predicted the document could be released later in the day. He also said the proposed bill will include $10 billion in funding for farmers.
The previously approved bill will keep the government open until 00:00 am ET between Friday and Saturday.
