Walt Disney Parks and Resorts' lawsuit against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was dismissed on Wednesday by a federal judge, CNBC reported.

According to the media, Judge Allen Winsor determined that Disney lacked the necessary legal grounds to initiate legal action against DeSantis for allegedly using his political influence to harm the company's business. This alleged retaliation came after Disney's public condemnation of the "Don't Say Gay" bill, now law, in the state in 2022, which was backed by the governor.

Previously, the politician attempted to challenge the authority of the federal judge overseeing the legal case.
