According to EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas, the bloc's proposal to spend €5 billion on 2 million rounds of large-caliber artillery ammunition for Ukraine this year is "realistic."
According to earlier reports, the EU planned to give Kiev at least two million rounds of ammunition a year. However, sources from the Italian newspaper La Stampa state that Kallas' plan was rejected by Portugal, France, Spain, and Italy.
