Most likely referring to Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei stated on Thursday that the United States gave its support to "the Saudi criminal" who killed Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, backed ISIS and allowed them to sell oil belonging to Syria.

Speaking in a televised address, the Iranian leader stressed that the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen has been committing crimes against the Yemeni people for six years, while the Yemenis have been accused of terrorism even though they only defended their people.

Khamenei also said that the US, which orchestrated most conspiracies targeting Iran, should withdraw its military from Iraq and Syria "immediately."
