Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday told the state-owned Russia-1 television channel that the Russian military's goal is to destroy the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine even on the outskirts of the combat zone. However, he acknowledged that this is not always possible, as Ukrainian military equipment is often transported covertly at night, making it difficult to locate.
"They transport it covertly at night. But what they manage to get, they get it," said Putin.
