Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov shared on Tuesday that Russia wants to "further deepen" its relations with North Korea in all areas of cooperation.
"As a continuation of the agreements reached as a result of President [Vladimir] Putin's recent visit to Pyongyang, we intend to further develop and deepen our relations in all possible areas with one of our closest neighbors," Peskov told reporters in a press briefing.
During Putin's visit to North Korea in June, the two countries signed a strategic partnership agreement that allows the two parties to provide military assistance to each other in case of aggression.
