Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized on Friday that Ukraine's strikes on Russian energy facilities, including the assault on the Sudzha gas measurement station, clearly illustrate the reliability of President Volodymyr Zelensky's words.

"Everyone can see how much one can trust Zelensky's word and the word of other representatives of the Kiev regime," Peskov added.

Russia's Investigative Committee also initiated legal proceedings on the attack on the Sudzha gas complex in the Kursk region. Previously, Zelensky had committed to a limited truce on energy infrastructure targeting following discussions with US President Donald Trump.
