Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit China from July 26 to 28, upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Wang Yi, as announced on Monday by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The news comes at a crucial moment in the Ukraine war and after the Washington NATO summit, where NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg labeled China a "decisive enabler" of the war in Ukraine. "China's support increases the threat Russia poses to Euro-Atlantic security," Stoltenberg said at that moment.
Just a few days ago, former President Donald Trump spoke with Volodymyr Zelensky on the telephone, after which both announced they would have a one-on-one meeting to discuss the war in Ukraine.
